I’ve used this telescope on three clear nights now—the 2032 mm focal length really brings out crisp detail on Jupiter’s bands even without perfect seeing. The included 40 mm eyepiece gives a nice wide field for scanning the moon, though I already swapped it for a higher-power one for planet viewing.

The StarBright XLT coatings really make a difference—Jupiter's bands popped with incredible clarity on my first clear night out. The aluminum tube feels solid and well-built, and the included 40mm eyepiece gives nice wide views to start with.

StarBright XLT coatings really pull in the detail on Jupiter and Saturn, even from my light-polluted backyard. The only slight downside is the aluminum tube makes it a bit heavy to haul to my observing spot alone.
