Celestron AstroMaster 90 EQ Telescope - 21064

Setting up this telescope without tools was honestly a breeze, and I love that the erect image optics let me use it for both backyard birdwatching and moon viewing. The quick release dovetail attachment made swapping eyepieces feel seamless.

The German Equatorial mount is surprisingly smooth for the price — tracking objects feels precise once you dial it in. I’ve been using the erect image optics for daytime birdwatching too, which is a nice bonus. Setup really is tool-free and took me less than ten minutes out of the box.

First light with this scope took me under ten minutes thanks to the no-tool setup, and the German equatorial mount feels sturdier than I expected for the price. The quick release dovetail let me swap between the eyepieces without fumbling in the dark.
