Celestron Cometron 7x50 Binoculars - 71198

I was worried they'd feel heavy during a long stargazing session, but they're surprisingly balanced in the hands. The 7x magnification makes it easy to hold steady while the multi-coated optics give you those crisp views of the night sky.

Stargazing from my backyard with these has been a nightly habit now. The 50mm lenses pull in so much light that even faint clusters show up clearly, and the 7x magnification keeps everything steady in my hands without a tripod.

I brought these along on a camping trip and was blown away by how much light the 50mm lenses pull in. The Andromeda galaxy actually showed up as a fuzzy patch instead of just a smudge, and the whole thing fits easily in my jacket pocket.
