This is exactly the same length and threading as the stock one, so swapping my counterweight over took two minutes. The added reach gave me way more room to balance a heavy lens and camera combo, and the whole setup feels rock solid under the mount.

Installed this to better balance my setup with a heavier lens and the extra length made all the difference. The threads engaged smoothly and it feels solidly machined—well worth the upgrade for more stable tracking.

Finally got the longer shaft for my tracker setup and it clears the tripod legs perfectly now. The stainless steel feels solid and the threading was smooth with no wobble. Balanced my heavier camera and lens combo without any issues.
