IOptron Tripod Vibration Suppression Pads - 8433

I was skeptical these small pads would make much difference, but they really do absorb the ground vibrations during high-magnification viewing. The set of three 2.5-inch discs is simple to place under each tripod foot, and now my image stays steady even when I walk nearby.

My scope setup was always shaky until I added these pads—the 2.5-inch diameter sits solid under each leg. They killed the wobble when I bump the tripod and let me focus without vibration.

Every bump from the deck or wind gust used to ruin my shots, but these 2.5-inch pads turn a solid tripod into a rock. The thick 1-inch rubber really absorbs the shake, and since they simply slip under the legs, setup takes about ten seconds.
