The illuminated reticle makes lining up Polaris in the dark so much easier, and the whole procedure takes me half the time it used to. The fit on the mount is snug with no wobble, which is exactly what you want when you're trying to get precise.

Finally got the polar alignment dialed in on my AZ-EQ5 mount—this scope makes the whole process noticeably quicker than fumbling with the built-in reticle. The illuminated reticle is crisp even in dim light, and it lined up on my first try after a quick calibration.
