The click-lock mechanism is incredibly solid, no wobble at all once the finder is seated. I mounted it on my clamshell ring in under a minute and it holds perfectly.

The quick-release mechanism clicks into place so smoothly on my clamshell ring, and it holds my finderscope rock-solid with zero wobble. Swapping between scopes at the eyepiece is now a two-second job instead of fumbling with thumbscrews. Just wish it came with a second base plate for my other OTA,

Took a bit of fiddling to get the clamp tight enough on my clamshell ring, but once it’s set, that quick-release lever snaps on and off without any wobble. Solid little piece of kit for swapping finders in the dark.
