Explore Scientific Schutzhaube für 10"/12" Truss-Tube-Dobson - DOB1012SHR

Dew used to fog my secondary mirror every humid night, but this shroud blocks stray light and keeps the optical path clean for hours. The fabric is stiff enough to hold its shape between the truss poles, and the velcro closures make setup a quick two-minute job.

Took it out on a moonless night and the difference was immediate—the tube stayed dark right to the eyepiece, so faint fuzzies popped with way more contrast. Fits my 12" truss snugly without sagging, and the velcro closure makes setup a breeze.

I was worried about light leaks ruining my views of dim deep-sky objects, but this shroud blocks stray light effectively and fits snugly around the truss poles. Set-up took under two minutes, and it folds flat for storage between sessions.
