Installed this on my Pro 80ED and took it out under a clear sky—immediately noticed the stars were much sharper across the entire frame compared to before. The focal ratio drop to f/6 makes a big difference for capturing fainter deep-sky objects without needing longer exposures.

It took maybe two minutes to thread this onto my 80ED, and my next session’s stars were sharp all the way to the corners. That f/6 focal ratio makes exposures feel noticeably shorter now.

After a few nights imaging with the 80ED, I can finally frame whole galaxies without stars turning into comets at the edges—the field correction is genuinely flat, and dropping to f/6 cuts my exposure times nicely. It threads on solidly and adds no noticeable weight, so the focuser still holds its p
