Meade 102mm StarPro AZ Refractor - 234004

Set-up took me maybe twenty minutes, and the included accessories meant I didn't have to buy anything extra before my first night out. Jupiter's bands were crisp, and the 102mm aperture really pulls in enough light for city viewing.

The Vixen-style dovetail receiver made it incredibly easy to swap out accessories without any fiddling. I’ve had it out three nights already, and the 102mm aperture brings in detail on lunar craters that my old smaller scope just couldn’t touch.

I was able to see Jupiter's moons clearly on my first night out with this scope, and the included accessories made setup straightforward. The 102mm aperture gathers enough light to make deep-sky objects like star clusters really pop, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
