Perfectly balanced my LX90 after adding a heavy eyepiece and filter wheel. The threaded inserts made installation a breeze, no drilling or modification needed.

Stuck on my LX90, I was worried these weights might cause flexure, but the pre-drilled bolt pattern matched the factory rail perfectly. The 8-inch diameter fits snugly against the tube, and my heavy 2-inch eyepiece no longer makes the scope tip back.

Finally got my 8 inch SCT to stop drifting when I hang a heavy 2 inch diagonal and binoviewer off the back. The weights slide onto the factory-prepared tube easily and I can nudge the balance point just by loosening and repositioning them. My tracking improved the first night out.
