Took me a while to set up, but once I got the polar alignment done, the GoTo tracking held my target dead center for over an hour. I really like that the declination assembly comes off—makes it easy to switch to a lighter setup when I want to just do visual observation.

I was surprised how smooth the GoTo tracking is—even at high magnification, deep-sky objects stayed centered for over ten minutes with no drift. The removable declination assembly made switching between visual and astrophotography setups much simpler than I expected.

Setup took me about an hour with the included hand controller, but once the GoTo locked onto Andromeda the tracking was dead-on steady even at 200x. Converting it to a lightweight tracking rig by removing the declination piece was easier than I'd expected, so it doubles nicely for quick nights out.
