Sky-Watcher HEQ5 Pro コンピューター制御赤道儀マウント - S30400

Finally got it polar aligned after a clear night and the GoTo slewed straight to Saturn on the first try. The SynScan hand controller is surprisingly intuitive, and the heavy-duty build feels rock solid even with my 8" tube on top.

I was nervous about balancing the payload on the SynScan controller, but the tracking is so smooth that even my astrophotography test shots came out crisp on the first night. The hand controller’s menu is intuitive enough that I didn’t need the manual past the initial alignment.

Setup took me about an hour and a half, but once it was polar-aligned, the SynScan hand controller found targets effortlessly and tracked them perfectly for a solid three hours of viewing. The build is reassuringly heavy and steady, even with a 10-inch newt on it.
