AstroZap Aluminum 14" SCT Meade Dew Shield Cap
Sometimes the smallest decisions have a big impact. The AstroZap Aluminum 14" SCT Meade Dew Shield Cap is an excellent example of this type of situation. Though small, the dew cap offers a great amount of relief for those who wish to leave their telescopes set up for multiple viewings on different nights and those who have permanently mounted telescopes. Instead of removing the dew shield at the end of the viewing, the dew cap gives the observer the option to leave the dew shield attached to the Meade telescope, maintaining the balance and providing protection for the optics that would otherwise be protected by the supplied dust cap. Adding a dew shield cap to a dew shield may just be the best move to make if ease of use is a concern.
The AstroZap Aluminum 14" SCT Meade Dew Shield Cap fits all 14" Meade SCT telescope dew shields. The cap can also be color matched for those looking for a seamless transition from telescope to dew shield to cap. Expertly made in the USA, this dew shield cap is a must have accessory.
