Celestron Basic Binocular Tripod Adapter - 93524

Mount most any pair of binoculars on a camera tripod with this Celestron Binocular Tripod Adapter.  A simple yet effective design, this tripod adapter threads into the tripod adapter port of most binoculars with a 1/4-20 bolt, and then connects to a standard photographic tripod via the tripod's mounting screw.

Once your binoculars have been securely connected to your tripod, you can enjoy hands-free observing for long periods of time without arm fatigue or image shake.

The Celestron Binocular Tripod Adapter is essential for larger, heavy binoculars as well as high magnification models of over 12X.  You will be amazed at how much easier binocular observing will become once you've taken the load off!  Small objects that are hard to resolve when hand-holding will appear steady when your binoculars are on a tripod, this is especially true for astronomical objects like Saturn or Jupiter.  Want to see the rings of Saturn or the moons of Jupiter?  Put your binoculars on a tripod!

Please Note:  While most binoculars on the market today have a tripod adapter port, not all of them do.  Before you buy a Binocular Tripod Adapter, check your binoculars to make sure they will be compatible.  Most adapter ports are disguised by a "beauty cover" that is about the size of a nickel or dime, and it is normally located on the bridge of the binoculars between the two objective lenses. Unscrew the cover cap to reveal a 1/4-20 threaded hole.
