Celestron ExploraScope 114AZ Reflector Telescope - 22103

Celestron designed the new Explorascope series to deliver first-time stargazers the very best experience on their first night out. This intuitive, easy to use telescope features a sturdy alt-azimuth mount on a full height aluminum tripod. Unlike other entry-level telescopes, Explorascope offers excellent image quality thanks to its glass optical elements that are fully coated to increase light transmission and resolution.

The largest model in the Explorascope family, the 114AZ offers enough light gathering ability to view impressive details like craters on the Moon and cloud bands on Jupiter. You’ll also be able to spot the faint gas clouds surrounding favorite objects like the Orion Nebula and the Pleiades Open Star Cluster. Despite its impressive performance, the Celestron Explorascope 114AZ weighs in at just 11 lb., making it perfect to take along on your next camping trip or family vacation.

Celestron has included a suite of bonus accessories to help you enjoy Explorascope even more. The red dot finderscope is the easiest way to locate objects in the night sky and center them in your telescope’s eyepiece. Speaking of eyepieces, you’ll get two of them, plus a 3x Barlow lens to triple the magnifying power of each eyepiece. That means you’ll have 4 different magnification options for viewing your favorite objects.
