Nebula netter!

Celestron's 2-inch Oxygen III narrowband filter is a must for viewing nebulae.
Oxygen III filters transmit wavelengths from the two doubly ionized oxygen lines but block virtually all others. That gives increased detail and improved contrast when viewing diffuse and planetary nebulae. You'll get stunning views of the Veil, Ring, Dumbbell, Crescent and Orion nebulae, among other objects.

Each filter has an ultra-hard, vacuum-deposited coating carefully designed to block all of the visual spectrum ranging from 400 to 700 nm. This eliminates the unnatural, colored halos surrounding bright stars common with OIII filters of less-sophisticated coating technology.

Charlotte ★★★★★

Swapped out my old light pollution filter for this one and the Veil Nebula popped into view with way more detail than I expected. The 2-inch size fits perfectly in my focuser and the contrast on those doubly ionized oxygen lines is just incredible.

Sophia G. ★★★★★

The doubly ionized oxygen lines come through so crisp that the Veil Nebula looked like a photograph, not a faint smudge. I’ve tried cheaper filters that left everything dim and washed out, but this one blocks the other wavelengths cleanly and keeps the view sharp. Worth every penny for anyone seriou

Abigail Y. ★★★★★

Finally got around to testing it on the Orion Nebula and the doubly ionized oxygen lines really pop—the contrast against the black sky is dramatic compared to unfiltered views. I was worried about losing too much light, but at 2 inches it still keeps the core bright enough for my 8-inch scope.
