Celestron Star Pointer Finderscope - 51630
Category: Telescope Accessories
A red dot finderscope like the Celestron Star Pointer is the fastest, easiest way to navigate the night sky. This simple accessory attaches to the mounting bracket holes on virtually any telescope. Amateur astronomers love red dot finderscopes because they don't magnify the image, so you can look through the scope with both eyes and view an accurate depiction of the night sky in the optical window. Simply turn on the red dot and place it over your target, and the desired object is ready to view in a low power eyepiece.
The first time you install your Star Pointer red dot finderscope, you'll need to align it to your telescope's main optics. This simple procedure takes just a couple of minutes and is best done during the day.
