Explore Scientific FirstLight 100mm Mak-Cassegrain with EQ3 Mount

This Explore Scientific FirstLight Maksutov Cassegrain telescope design is great for visual use and planetary photography. Adding this telescope to your toolbox is an excellent way to adventure through the night sky and stop to view lunar details and planetary features like those on Saturn and Jupiter. For those wanting to capture the telescopic views with their phone, there is an included Smartphone Camera adapter! This refracting telescope setup is complete with one 25mm Plossl eyepiece, a red dot viewfinder, and a 1.25" 90° diagonal.

The aperture of 100mm and folded optics make this telescope a great tool when it comes to capturing views of deep sky objects without the long and hard to transport design of a Newtonian reflector or refractor with the same focal length.

The EXOS Nano mount is a light-duty, manual German equatorial mount, complete with flexible slow motion controls. Users can smoothly and manually track objects as they move through the night sky. The included tripod is full size and has an accessory tray that can be used to hold eyepieces and other accessories while observing. The accessory tray also enhances the stability of the tripod.

The mount can hold up to 15 lb of equipment.
