Optolong 1.25" Filter Set with LRGB and 7nm H-Alpha Filters

This Optolong LRGB/H-Alpha filter set combines all of the filters you could ever need for stunning planetary and deep-sky observations. In this set, you will get Optolong's Luminance, Red, Green, and Blue (LRGB) filters and a 7nm Hydrogen-Alpha filter. All filters are housed in a 1.25" cell.

All Optolong filters in this set are made with Schott glass that has been multi-coated with an ion-assisted deposition technology to ensure scratch resistance and stability on the central wavelength, or CWL. The filter cells are made of lightweight, strong metal and are CNC machined, sand-blasted, black anodized, and then laser engraved. The result is a super thin filter cell that will produce a clear aperture of 26mm.

Optolong LRGB Filter Set - The Optolong LRGB Filter Set comes with four 1.25” mounted filters, including Red, Green, Blue, and Luminance. They are designed for de-bayered monochrome CCD and CMOS cameras and work great for both planetary and deep-sky imaging. Like all Optolong filters that are designated as “CCD”, this filter set blocks infrared wavelengths from 700nm to 1100nm so you don't need a separate IR-Cut filter.

Optolong 7nm H-Alpha Filter - The Optolong H-Alpha 7nm is an extremely narrow emission-line filter that works by allowing a 7nm bandwidth of light, centered on the 656nm wavelength through, and blocking the transmission of contrast-killing light pollution wavelengths. Wavelengths that are responsible for natural light pollution, or skyglow, are drastically reduced, as is artificial light pollution caused by high and low-pressure sodium vapor and mercury vapor lights. The result is a high contrast image that reveals the H-alpha line in all its glory.

Scarlett R. ★★★★★

Swapping between the LRGB and 7nm H-Alpha filters mid-session was seamless, and the difference in contrast on the Orion Nebula was stunning. I’ve never seen so much detail in a single set.

Richard A. ★★★★★

The 7nm H-Alpha filter really cuts through light pollution—my first test image showed way more detail in the Horsehead Nebula than I expected. The threadings on these 1.25" filters are smooth and didn't bind at all when I swapped them out in my filter wheel.

Chloe T. ★★★★★

Finally got clean narrowband shots of the Orion Nebula with the 7nm H-Alpha filter, and the LRGB set let me pull out natural star colors without halos. The threaded cells fit snugly into my filter wheel without any wobble.
