Pulled it out of the box, plugged in the altazimuth cable, and the app found my mount within two minutes—no laptop or hand controller needed. The Wi-Fi range from the adapter to my phone held steady across the yard, which made aligning from inside the house actually painless.

Steven ★★★★★ Oct 21, 2026

Took about five minutes to get the Wi-Fi pairing sorted with my phone, and now the app controls the mount seamlessly. The 6-pin and 8-pin cables both fit snugly, so switching between altazimuth setups is hassle-free.

The two included cables made connecting to my mount straightforward, and once paired the SynScan Pro app responded instantly—no lag when slewing to targets. I’ve used it three nights now without a single disconnect, which is a huge upgrade over wrestling with a hand controller in the dark.
