TeleGizmos Cover for the NexStar 11" GPS Telescope

This TeleGizmos Solar Cover will keep your NexStar 11" GPS Telescope safe from dust, debris, and excess light. This Solar Cover is made of a multi-layer, polyethylene material, and a thoroughly aluminized surface. This material was initially designed for NASA as an insulator in spacecrafts with strength equal to a multi-layer tarp. It is very strong and light as well as tear and puncture resistant. The cover also has double lap sewn seams for strength and can be securely fastened to your telescope with a built-in drawstring.

The heat reflective ability of this TeleGizmos Solar Cover is extremely high, greatly reducing scope temperature on telescopes left outside in sunlight. True & effective radiant barrier protection. It is highly water-resistant without the need of spray on sealers. Also stops condensation build-up on scopes left outside at night. The material has extreme temperature tolerance; they stay malleable in temps well below freezing and are unaffected by summer sun and heat.

Please Note: The photo shown is for a 12" SCT. The cover you will receive is a bit smaller and is made to fit the NexStar 11" GPS Telescope.

The elastic around the base grips the tripod legs snugly, so even on windy nights I don't worry about it flapping loose. It's a simple dust shield, but the full coverage over the corrector plate and mount makes setup and teardown feel complete.

I was worried about dust getting into the telescope's optics, but this cover fits snugly over the entire tube and blocks out stray light during solar observing. The material feels durable enough to withstand regular outdoor use.

Fits my NexStar 11" GPS perfectly, and the material feels sturdy enough to handle years of garage dust and stray light. I love that it's made specifically for this scope, so no fiddling with straps or fighting a generic cover.
