Tele Vue 6mm Ethos Telescope Eyepiece - ETH-060

Tele Vue 6mm Ethos Telescope Eyepiece

Just when you thought TeleVue eyepieces couldn't get any better, along comes TeleVue Ethos eyepieces with their spectacular 100-degree apparent field of view! With a good telescope and this 6mm Ethos eyepiece, you will come as close as possible to experiencing a view much like what astronauts see when gazing from the window of their spacecraft. The view through this eyepiece is so expansive that it causes the eyepiece itself to disappear from view, leaving you with nothing but a dark, starry background and your target object.

The apparent field of view of the 6 mm Ethos is 50% larger than the 82-degree Nagler!

All of the high-quality features you've come to expect from quality TeleVue eyepieces are here in the Ethos, including sharpness across the entire field, high contrast views, and superb control over aberrations such as astigmatism, field curvature, lateral color, angular magnification distortion, and low pupil sensitivity for daytime use. As with all Tele Vue eyepieces, you'll enjoy a threaded eyepiece barrel, rubberized no-slip grip, rubber eyecup to cushion the view, 100% quality control, and a limited lifetime warranty.
