Eli X. ★★★★★ Oct 22, 2026

Swapped out the stock dovetail for this Vixen-style plate and it really locks in solid on my mount. The existing screw holes lined up perfectly with the OTA, which saved me a ton of hassle. Feels much more secure during tracking now.

The machining is precise—it slid onto my Meade 8" SCT and locked down tight with zero wobble. It mates with my Orion mount perfectly, and the existing holes lined up without any fiddling.

James P. ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

Swapped this onto my Meade 8" SCT in about five minutes using the existing mounting holes, and it’s rock solid on my Vixen mount—no wiggling even with a heavy eyepiece. The machined edges are clean and the anodized finish looks sharp.
