AstroZap 250公釐 x 250公釐 Baader太陽濾膜 目視觀測用 - AZ1030

Cut the sheet to fit my telescope's dew shield, and the material felt sturdy enough to give me confidence during setup. First look at the sun showed crisp detail with no flaring around the edges.

I was a little nervous about making my own solar filter, but this sheet was straightforward to cut and the material feels sturdy. The 250 mm square gave me plenty of room to work with for my 6-inch refractor, and the sun's surface detail through it is remarkably crisp.

Cutting the sheet to fit my 8-inch scope took about ten minutes, and the film is rigid enough that it didn’t pucker or wrinkle during mounting. The view of sunspots through it was crisp and steady, and I felt confident knowing it’s rated for visual use.
