AstroZap 250公釐 x 500公釐 Baader 太陽濾鏡膜 目視觀測用 - AZ1031

First thing I did was hold it up to a bright lamp with sunglasses on — zero light leaks, exactly what I needed. The 10x20 size gave me plenty of material to make a custom filter for my 8-inch Dob without messing up the first attempt.

I cut this 250x500 mm sheet into two filters for my binoculars, and the Baader film shows sunspots with sharp detail. The material feels sturdy and hasn't scratched despite handling it a few times.

Looking through my telescope at the sun for the first time was incredible, and the film's 250 x 500 mm size gave me plenty of material to securely cover my homemade filter. The image was crisp and safe, exactly what I needed.
