Baader Planetarium 2吋 IR-Pass 望遠鏡濾鏡 - FIRP-2

Swapped this in before my last lunar session and the 670nm cutoff really cleaned up the seeing. The threads are machined perfectly, no tilt issues with my imaging train. Focus shift is noticeable but manageable, and the detail in the high-contrast zones came through sharper than I've managed before.

I was skeptical about the IR-pass filter’s effect on Jupiter detail, but it really cuts through the atmospheric blur. The 670 nm cutoff sharpened cloud bands noticeably in my 8-inch SCT. Definitely a keeper for planetary imaging sessions.

Just used this for my first lunar imaging session and the boost in contrast was immediately obvious—my raw frames looked cleaner than ever. The difference in detail on the terminator region was striking, even though I was shooting through average seeing. Glad I finally tried an IR-pass approach.
