Celestron ExploraScope 114AZ Reflector Telescope - 22103

I was nervous about setting up my first telescope, but the 114mm aperture gathered enough light to clearly show me Jupiter's moons within minutes. The intuitive alt-azimuth mount made tracking the planet feel effortless and fun.

The alt-azimuth mount is so smooth that I actually found Jupiter and its moons within five minutes of setting up in my backyard. The view was crisp enough to see the cloud bands, and for a first scope, it’s genuinely fun to use all evening.

Even my kid could set this up without help, which is saying something. The 114mm reflector pulled in Saturn’s rings clearly on our first clear night.
