Swapped out my old light pollution filter for this one and the Veil Nebula popped into view with way more detail than I expected. The 2-inch size fits perfectly in my focuser and the contrast on those doubly ionized oxygen lines is just incredible.

The doubly ionized oxygen lines come through so crisp that the Veil Nebula looked like a photograph, not a faint smudge. I’ve tried cheaper filters that left everything dim and washed out, but this one blocks the other wavelengths cleanly and keeps the view sharp. Worth every penny for anyone seriou

Finally got around to testing it on the Orion Nebula and the doubly ionized oxygen lines really pop—the contrast against the black sky is dramatic compared to unfiltered views. I was worried about losing too much light, but at 2 inches it still keeps the core bright enough for my 8-inch scope.
