Finally got a chance to use it on the Moon during a bright gibbous phase, and the view didn't wash out like it usually does. The threads screwed on smoothly and it feels solidly built, so I'm set for the next planetary session too.

The even light pass across the whole spectrum is what sold me, and it really delivers on that promise for lunar viewing. Threaded it onto my eyepiece in seconds, and the brightness reduction was just right without dulling any detail.

I was worried about overexposing bright targets, but this filter cuts the glare perfectly while keeping detail sharp. The glass is clear and the threads are smooth, screwing into my eyepiece without any wiggle. Exactly what I needed for comfortable lunar viewing.
