The first night out, the 406mm mirror pulled in the Whirlpool Galaxy's spiral arms like a photo—I never expected that kind of detail from a backyard scope. Collimation held steady through a full three-hour session, and the truss design made it a breeze to break down afterward.

I was worried about the setup time, but the truss tube design lets me go from stored to stargazing in under ten minutes. The views of Jupiter's bands and moons through that 406mm mirror are absolutely stunning. I've owned smaller scopes before, but this one is on another level.

The truss design makes setup a breeze, and that 406mm mirror just drinks in the light—the Veil Nebula looked like a photograph on my first clear night. My back thanks me every time I break it down; two pieces and it’s stored.
