The moon looked absolutely crisp through my 2" eyepiece with this filter — no washed-out glare at all. It lets light through evenly across the spectrum, so Jupiter's bands stayed sharp without that harsh brightness. I've used it three nights in a row now and I'm genuinely impressed.

The neutral density filtering is perfectly even across the whole spectrum, so the moon's glare is cut without any weird color shifts. It threads onto my 2" diagonal smoothly and stays secure. This is exactly what I needed for high-power lunar observing.

Used this on a bright gibbous moon with my 2" eyepiece and it toned down the glare beautifully without muddying the craters. The light stays even across the whole field, which is exactly what I needed.
