Everything from the interior custom-cut foam to the overall weight feels like it was made for this mount, and that's exactly what I wanted. The case closes with a reassuring click and the padding holds the head snugly with zero wiggle room.

The latches are sturdy and the case has a tight seal that keeps out dust. I was pleasantly surprised by the dense foam padding that holds everything firmly in place. The handle is comfortable for carrying the mount to my observing site.

The custom-cut foam holds my mount securely with no rattling during transport, and the case itself feels sturdy enough to throw in the car trunk without worry.
