Lumicon 2吋超高對比（UHC）濾鏡 - LF3030

Finally, a filter that cuts through light pollution without killing the stars. The narrow 24nm bandpass on this 2-inch filter makes the Veil Nebula pop against a dark sky background. My only wish is that it came in a padded case instead of the basic plastic box.

I’d been struggling to see nebula details through my 8-inch scope, but this filter made the Veil Nebula pop with defined structure—even from my backyard. The 24nm bandpass really cuts through light pollution better than my old broadband filter.

The 24nm bandpass really pulls out those O-III and H-beta wavelengths—I could trace the Veil’s filaments from a Bortle 6 backyard that used to wash them out completely. It threads into a focuser snugly and feels solidly machined, though I wish the threads were slightly smoother for the price.
