Opticron 6x30 Savanna Waterproof Binoculars - 30045

The 6x30 magnification is perfect for quick wildlife spotting, and the whole thing floats if I drop it in the creek. I can actually fit it in my jacket pocket, which beats lugging around my old full-size set.

After a wet hike last weekend I was really impressed that these kept the view crystal clear with no fogging—the waterproofing holds up perfectly. The porro prism design gives a nice depth that made spotting birds feel more immersive than with my old roof prisms.

The 6x magnification is perfect for my kids to hold steady without a tripod, and they're light enough that my 8-year-old carries them all day on hikes. Waterproof too, which got tested in a surprise rainstorm and they came out fine.
