Optolong

Matthew ★★★★★

The 650nm cutoff makes a real difference for cutting through light pollution around the moon. Paired with my 8-inch scope, the contrast on Jupiter’s bands jumped out way more than with my generic IR filter.

Olivia G. ★★★★★

Finally got this for lunar imaging and the 650nm cut does exactly what I needed — sharp, crisp moon shots even through mediocre seeing. It’s a bit niche but performs flawlessly for the job.

Emily ★★★★★

The 650nm cutoff really tames the Moon’s glare, letting craters pop with way more contrast than my unfiltered shots. It threaded into my 2" diagonal without any fuss, and the deep-sky views of nebulae gained a nice crispness too. Glad I grabbed this for planetary nights.
