Telrad Pulser Unit - 2010

The pulsing is subtle enough to keep the reticle visible without washing out faint stars, which makes centering deep-sky objects much faster. It took me a few minutes to figure out the brightness adjustment, but now I wouldn't observe without it.

I was skeptical about needing a pulser, but now I can't imagine using the Telrad without it — the adjustable brightness really helps my older eyes find faint objects without losing dark adaptation.

The pulsing effect is a game-changer — it stops my eye from straining during long observation sessions. It clicks on and off cleanly, and the LED brightness is perfect for keeping your night vision intact.
