Finally got it set up in my backyard and the 127mm aperture really pulls in faint deep-sky objects. The Mak-Cass design keeps the tube short and manageable on the EQ3 mount. Seeing Saturn's rings clearly on the first clear night is exactly what I was hoping for.

I used this to show my kids the rings of Saturn for the first time, and the German equatorial mount made tracking so much smoother than my old tripod. The 127mm reflector really pulls in enough light for crisp views of Jupiter's bands.

It takes a bit of patience to learn the mount's menu system, but once I dialed in the backlash settings the tracking got impressively steady for deep-sky imaging. The 11-inch aperture pulls in plenty of light even under my moderately light-polluted backyard sky.

The alt-azimuth mount is so smooth that tracking the moon through a 10mm eyepiece feels effortless. I was surprised how crisp the view stayed as the target crept across the sky.

Set up the RASA last night and was blown away by how fast I could capture clear, wide-field images—the integrated lens correction really saves time in post-processing. Already planning my next target.
